♥What a day of mixed feelings...
We went to 'Escape Theme Park' this afternoon and we were struggling if we should enter as the rain clouds were threatening to pour above. We finally decided to go in and the first thing we noticed was the 'Pirate ship' and BOY...that was a hell of a ride! Both of us didn't expect it to go THAT high as I felt that I was almost standing! Guess am getting too old for this huh? LOL! It began to pour shortly and we sat at a shelter till the rain went down.
We spotted a 'Haunted House' and decided to check it out. Darlin was worried about me as I looked bad after the earlier ride,but I braved it as I don't want to spoil her mood.Here comes the distress of the day...We entered the place with a bunch of kids and 2 adults and almost immediately screams were heard and darlin was holding on to my arm like a Koala,but somehow for me that place doesn't even scare me a little bit...okay~the scary part was that I can't see well~not the 'haunting'. It was okay till we reached a particular room that I identified as a 'Mortuary' and translated it to chinese as ‘停尸房’and it was a BAD idea as that comment earned more screams and darlin was mortified. Nobody wanted to enter,but for me it was nothing as I had even worked in a mortuary before! Upon entering I was like HUH as it wasn't a mortuary,but looked more like a SLAUGHTER house instead with all those bloodied stuff and that corpse actually sit up to scare people! Realising how terrified darlin was, I agreed to go inside to check things out by the request of the earlier group,because if there are anything I'll know beforehand..BUT I made the WRONG choice as darlin needed me most then and I left her alone behind thinking that she'll be with the group. When I met up with her again she was in tears and it hits me bad that I had done the worst thing in my history with her till now. I brought her out and she broke into tears...
We went to the nearby Orange Julius and we drank 3 large orange juice while I try to pacify her and it helped abit although I knew the trauma will be there for quite awhile. It began to rain again and we stayed to chat till about 7pm and we went for the 'Kart' race~guess what? That was the first time I drove~lol! We enjoyed the game and went for a second round =3
Soon it's time to go home and I took pictures for her at the entrance,but one of them turn out badly taken. We chatted about the incident at the 'Haunted House' and I knew very well that I had made her lose that much faith in me...She said she forgave me,but she must blog about it to let the steam out.
Darlin~am so sry...I won't ever leave you alone again under any circumstance even that it'll cost my puny life. I love you and want to protect you for the rest of my time.
