♥To the pool!
The weather had been murderous lately, thus me and darlin decided to go to the pool in her neighbourhood. In case you guys doesn't know...I can't swim and as a result darlin hadn't been going for a good swim since the previous 'Wild Wild Wet' trip with her friends. She managed to talk me into learning to swim as I had a childhood trauma that prevented me from even wanting to learn AT ALL.
She patiently taught me the basics and I tried...her efforts gave me courage and I told her that I will learn to swim one day and that we will visit the pool whenever we can =3 till the end of the day I had learnt to 'breathe' underwater, how to move my arms as well as how to kick the water froggy style. I hadn't managed to move an inch without screwing everything up though =p
I told her to go enjoy her swim while I practice. It wasn't an easy task to move in water as it took up more energy than I expected and....we got stronger in water too!! LOL! Darlin could piggy-back this fat cat(ME!) and could even carry me in her arms like a princess....er...prince....FAT prince! LOL!
We spent about 4hrs in the pool and got to know 2 elderly men who shared their experiences in the pool as well as in life and one of them happen to be darlin's teacher in secondary school! Talk about a small world!!
P/S: I will work hard in swimming and everything that you wanted me to do,darlin...as I knew that what you thought for me are for my best interest. Your birthday will be tomolo(1105) and here I wish you HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! LYFET!
